Former FEAR FACTORY Guitarist/Bassist CHRISTIAN OLDE WOLBERS Interviewed On 'Maximum Threshold'
January 21, 2012Former FEAR FACTORY guitarist/bassist Christian Olde Wolbers, who last year joined Venice Beach, California crossover thrashers BEOWÜLF as the band's new bassist, was interviewed on a recent edition of the "Maximum Threshold" show. While in FEAR FACTORY, Christian played bass from December 1993 to 2002 when the group disbanded. After the group reformed in 2003, Christian switched to guitar, replacing Dino Cazares (Byron Stroud of STRAPPING YOUNG LAD fame filled the empty bass position). In 2009, Christian and drummer Raymond Herrera parted ways with FEAR FACTORY when vocalist Burton C. Bell chose to reform FEAR FACTORY with original guitarist Dino, bassist Byron, and drummer Gene Hoglan.
Christian is also a talented producer, having handled the production and mixing of Danish metal band MNEMIC's third album, "Passenger". He also helmed BLEED THE SKY's "Murder The Dance" and THREAT SIGNAL's "Under Reprisal" CDs.
